1.1 The Favourites Index Competition (the "Competition") is a skill-based prediction competition run in connection with the 2026 World Cup.
1.2 The promoter is IRPSX Pty Ltd (ABN 41 087 708 898) trading as Bet Right (the "Promoter"), licensed and regulated by the Northern Territory Racing and Wagering Commission.

2. Promotional period
2.1 Entries open at 12:00am AEST and close at 11:59pm AEST on 28 June 2026 (the "Entry Period") — i.e. entries are open for the full day of 28 June 2026.
2.2 Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be accepted.
2.3 The Competition outcome will be determined after the conclusion of the World Cup Final on 20 July 2026 (AEST).
3. Eligibility
3.1 Entry is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry:
are aged 18 years or over;
hold an active Bet Right account;
are eligible to receive bonuses; and
are residents of Australia
3.2 Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, and agencies associated with the Competition, are not eligible to enter.
3.3 The Promoter may verify an entrant's eligibility at any time and may disqualify any entrant who does not meet these requirements.
3.4 Entry in the Competition is solely at the discretion of the Promoter.
4. How to enter
4.1 Eligible clients may enter solely via the in-app submission flow made available on Sunday the 28th of June. No other method of entry will be accepted.
4.2 To enter, an entrant submits a single numerical prediction of the final value of the Favourites Index (see clause 5).
4.3 One (1) entry per client. Once submitted, an entry is final and cannot be changed, withdrawn, or resubmitted.
5. The Favourites Index
5.1 The "Favourites Index" is a single, transparent, rules-based numerical value derived from publicly observable betting market data. It can be viewed throughout the tournament at https://world-cup.betright.com.au
5.2 The Index begins at a value of 100.0 at the start of the tournament and is recalculated after each completed match. For each match, the favourite is identified from the closing head-to-head market price and the closing handicap (line) as they stood at the official kick-off, and the Index moves according to fixed rules:
if the favourite wins, the Index increases — the shorter (more favoured) the price, the smaller the increase, reflecting that the win was expected;
if the favourite does not win (a draw or loss), the Index decreases — the shorter the price, the larger the decrease, reflecting a greater upset;
the size of each movement is then scaled by the result relative to the closing handicap, increasing the movement for wins that comfortably cover the line and reducing it for narrow or unconvincing results.
5.3 The full Index methodology is published at https://world-cup.betright.com.au The Index is rules-based and is not set at the Promoter's discretion.
5.4 The "Final Index Value" is the value of the Favourites Index as published once the World Cup Final has been officially concluded and resulted, and in any event the value displayed at 12:00pm (noon) AEST on 20 July 2026.
6. Determining the winner
6.1 The winner is the eligible entrant whose prediction is closest to the Final Index Value without exceeding it ("closest without going over").
6.2 Any entry with a predicted value greater than the Final Index Value is not eligible to win, regardless of how close it is.
6.3 Tie-break: if two or more eligible entrants submit the same prediction and that prediction is the closest without going over, the winner will be the entrant whose entry carries the earliest submission timestamp.
6.4 If no eligible entry is equal to or less than the Final Index Value (i.e. every entry exceeds it), there will be no winner and the Prize will not be awarded.
7. The prize
7.1 The prize is AUD $1,000 in cash (the "Prize"), paid to the winner's nominated Australian bank account following verification of the winner's identity and account details.
7.2 There is one (1) Prize available. The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for any other item.
7.3 The Prize is cash only. No bonus bets or other incentives form part of the Prize.
8. Winner notification
8.1 The winner will be notified via their registered Bet Right contact details after the conclusion of the Final.
8.2 The winner must validate their identity and account details before the Prize is paid.
9. Skill-based nature
9.1 The Competition is a game of skill. Entries are assessed on the entrant's judgement and skill in predicting a transparent, rules-based market-derived index, drawing on knowledge of current form, tournament dynamics, and market movements observable in the lead-up to the Entry Period.
9.2 Chance plays no part in determining the winner. The Competition is not a lottery, raffle, or game of chance.
10. General conditions
10.1 The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, breaches these Terms, or engages in fraudulent or unlawful conduct.
10.2 The Promoter's decisions in relation to all aspects of the Competition are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
10.3 The Promoter may, subject to applicable law and any required regulatory approval, amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.
10.4 To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the Competition or acceptance of the Prize.
