1. Introduction
1.1. Bet Right
Bet Right is the business name and brand of wagering services provider, IRPSX Pty Ltd ACN 087 708 898 (IRPSX), a wholly-owned subsidiary of BetTube Corporation Pty Limited ACN 635 285 326 (BetTube Corp), part of the BetTube Group. Both IRPSX and BetTube Corp are companies incorporated in Australia under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). IRPSX and its wagering brand, Bet Right, are licensed as a Sports Bookmaker by the Northern Territory Racing and Wagering Commission to accept bets and wagers by online electronic media including mobile and telephone, 24 hours per day. Bet Right complies with the NT Code of Practice for Responsible Service of Online Gambling 2019 and the South Australian Authorised Betting Operations Gambling Code of Practice (effective 23 December 2021 and varied 30 March 2023).
All references to “we”, “us” and “our” in these Rules are a reference to Bet Right, IRPSX and BetTube Corp.
Bets include “bets” and “wagers”.
Bet Right uses the website betright.com.au, betright.com and mobile IOS and Android apps (Apps) for mobile devices.
Bet Right offers betting (wagering) on regulated sports, racing, esports and other declared events and contingencies utilising the latest innovative data technology with the client as the primary focus including providing the best possible products, services, facilities and UI/UX enabling clients to bet rightly and gamble responsibly.
Declared events and contingencies include regulated sports, racing, esports and other declared events and contingencies.
In accordance with its Sports Bookmaker licence from the Northern Territory, all bets and wagers are considered to have been and deemed accepted in the Northern Territory in the Commonwealth of Australia.
1.2. Bet Right’s Rule Book
The Bet Right Rule Book covers the rules setting out the mutual obligations of Bet Right and the client who places bets with Bet Right. In particular, the rules cover betting account requirements, financial requirements, obligations on the use of Bet Right betting products and services, betting rules, resulting and settlement, privacy and data protection, surveillance and monitoring arrangements, and responsible gambling.
The Rule Book therefore plays an important role in setting standards for Bet Right and the conduct of clients who engage in betting with Bet Right.
The Rule Book also plays an important role in the overall legal and regulatory framework for Bet Right. In particular, they are additional and complementary to the mutual obligations of Bet Right and clients under relevant and respective national and international statutes and laws.
The Rule Book creates a contract between Bet Right and the client. This contract is enforceable by Bet Right as well as a range of other people under the relevant and respective national and international statutes.
Key Principles
The Rule Book is based on the following key principles:
(a) Adherence to the National Consumer Protection Framework for Online Wagering 2018 (NCFP), the NT Code of Practice for Responsible Service of Online Gambling 2019 and the South Australian Authorised Betting Operations Gambling Code of Practice.
(b) Applicants for betting accounts and the continued use of betting accounts requires clients to meet and maintain minimum standards in relation to transparency, psychological integrity, competency, financial capacity as well as subscription and adherence to codes of conduct including responsible gambling and self-exclusion;
(c) Activities of clients holding betting accounts must be carried out in a fair, efficient and regulated manner to reduce risk and promote confidence in the integrity and proper functioning of Bet Right.
1.3. Purpose of the Rule Book
The Rule Book governs the opening of betting accounts by clients with Bet Right, the organisation of betting products and services by Bet Right, and the rules of conduct for clients holding betting accounts.
The Rule Book aims to ensure fair and equal treatment of clients, fair, transparent and efficient betting on regulated sports, racing, esports and other declared events and contingencies, and the integrity and proper functioning of Bet Right.
The Rule Book aims to provide clients with access to competitive price betting that is as free and equal as possible, and to ensure transparency for clients with regard to betting products and market quality and the characteristics of individual betting products and markets.
1.4. Structure of the Rule Book
The Rule Book consists of the following nine (9) parts:

The provisions for implementing the Rule Book are laid down in Directives and Procedures which are an integral part of the Rule Book.
General explanations and technical instructions with regard to clients’ connection to Bet Right and Bet Right’s online and mobile services including website and mobile Apps, as well as the organisation of online electronic betting, can be found in the Guides and Circulars published by Bet Right from time to time as required.
1.5. Client
Bet Right provides wagering services and betting products primarily online for persons who meet the relevant criteria. Clients who intend to place bets with Bet Right must open a betting account.
The client, "you", or "your" is a reference to any person using, visiting or accessing Bet Right’s website, mobile Apps and services of Bet Right, and/or any client with a betting account with Bet Right.
1.6. Use of Bet Right services and products
You, the Client, in using, visiting and/or accessing any part (including, but not limited to, sub-domains, source code and/or website APIs, whether visible or not) of Bet Right’s website or mobile Apps or any other websites or applications that we own or operate and/or opening a betting account, agree to be bound by the Rule Book including the Directive on Surveillance, Privacy and Data (including Personal Information Use and Disclosure) Protection, the Terms and Agreements and the Privacy Policy.
Please read the Rule Book carefully and if you do not agree and consent to the Rule Book, do not use, visit or access any part (including, but not limited to, sub-domains, source code and/or website APIs, whether visible or not) of Bet Right’s website or mobile Apps. The Rule Book will also apply to all telephone betting and betting via mobile devices including applications downloadable to a mobile device.
Where you place a bet using Bet Right, you agree and consent to be bound by the Rule Book including rules which apply to the relevant products available from Bet Right from time to time.
The right to access Bet Right (including any or all of the products offered) may be illegal in certain countries and jurisdictions. You are responsible for determining whether your accessing Bet Right is compliant with applicable laws in your jurisdiction and you warrant to us that gambling is not illegal in the state, territory or country where you are located.
1.7. Amendments/Changes to the Rule Book
Bet Right reserves the right to amend or change the Rule Book from time to time.
We may need to do this from time to time for a number of reasons (including the obligation to comply with applicable laws and regulations, and regulatory requirements). All changes will be published by Bet Right on the appropriate media. The most up to date Rule Book will also be made available by Bet Right on the appropriate media. If any change is unacceptable to you, you should cease using Bet Right products and services and/or close your betting account. If, however, you continue to use Bet Right products and services after the date on which the changes to the Rule Book come into effect, you will be deemed to have accepted those changes.
1.8. Safer Gambling and responsible gambling
Bet Right is committed to safer gambling ie providing products and services which enable clients to bet rightly and gamble responsibly. Bet Right is committed to conducting wagering from a safer gambling perspective embedded into the company’s culture, rules, procedures, processes and results utilising the latest in data analytics. Bet Right is committed to the NCPF and supporting any safer gambling measures including self-exclusion through BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register. Self-exclusion is explained here.
From a legal liability perspective, Bet Right will not accept any responsibility or admit to any liability if you nevertheless continue gambling and/or seek to access Bet Right with the intention of deliberately avoiding or breaching the relevant safer gambling measures in place including self-exclusion.
Bet Right’s safer gambling policy is contained in the Gambling Right! document which is available as a text document and as webpages on Bet Right website and mobile Apps.
1.9. Jurisdiction
The Rule Book will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Northern Territory. You agree irrevocably to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Northern Territory in respect of any dispute arising out of the Rule Book or Bet Right’s provision of the services and products.
