(a) Rules:
(i) If a single bet leg (sport) is abandoned, or does not start for any reason, the final dividend may be re-calculated to exclude that leg.
(ii) If a single bet leg (racing) is scratched, abandoned, or does not start for any reason, the final dividend may be re-calculated to exclude that leg provided that leg is not on an All-in basis for that race.
(iii) If a Same Game Multi-Bet is voided, the final dividend may be re-calculated to exclude that leg.
(iv) Multi-Bet payouts for bets placed in racing, sports, Same Game Multi-Bet or a combination of two or all three, are subject to a maximum limit of $250,000 per Multi-Bet combination which applies to any one Client or a group of Clients whom, in Bet Right’s opinion, are acting in concert. In the latter instance, the total payout across all bets/channels/accounts will not exceed the maximum payout of $250,000 per Multi-Bet combination.
Same Game Multi-Bet
Same Game Multi-Bet consists of a Multi-Bet where all selections are from the same event. The dividend for a Same Game Multi-Bet is calculated differently from Multi-Bets to account for the related contingencies within the market. Same Game Multi-Bets are limited to a maximum payout of $50,000 per Multi-Bet combination, per client.
(b) Rules:
(i) If and when a selection in a Same Game Multi-Bet is abandoned, or does not start for any reason, the whole Same Game Multi-Bet is void and the stakes refunded.
(ii) If and when a Client or a group of Clients whom, in Bet Right’s opinion, are acting in concert, having placed a Same Game Multi-Bet, subsequently places another or more Same Game Multi-Bets using the same combination and the additional Same Game Multi-Bets will cause the maximum payout of $50,000 per Multi-Bet combination, per client to be potentially exceeded, those additional Same Game Multi-Bets to that extent are voided and stakes refunded.
(iii) Cash-Out does not apply to Same Game Multi-Bets.
Salami
Salami consists of betting markets which refer to the total number of points scored across all games set down for a day's or round's play.
3. Racing Rules — Thoroughbred, Harness, Greyhounds
3.1. Race meetings
(a) If and when a race meeting is transferred from one racecourse to another, the betting limits to be applied will be for the racecourse on which the meeting would have been held.
(b) If and when a race meeting is abandoned or postponed, bets are voided and stakes refunded. Affected MultiBets will be recalculated excluding that leg.
(c) If and when a race meeting is transferred from one racecourse or surface to another on the same raceday, all bets will stand and relevant deductions for scratchings will be applied.
3.2. Runners
(a) If and when there are eight (8) or more runners in a race, a place dividend will be paid on first, second and third places.
(b) If and when there are seven (7), six (6) or five (5) runners in a race, a place dividend will be paid on first and second places only. When a Client has placed a bet on a Tote-based product, bets on placing will pay down to however many placings the Representative Australian TABs determine as appropriate for that bet type.
(c) If and when there are less than five (5) runners in a race, all bets will be on a Win Only basis. If and when the field is reduced below five (5) runners by the late scratching of a runner or runners, all Tote-based bets will be refunded if there is no possibility for a payout to be made.
3.3. Placing Bets
In the case of fixed odds bets on racing events, if and when after the official time the final field for an event is declared, a bet is placed after the declaration but before Bet Right makes any adjustment to the prices it has set for the event following a scratching, the bet will stand subject to any deduction in accordance with the Directive on Deductions.
3.4. Betting Products
(a) If a rule in the Rule Book provides that a dividend is to be paid as declared by a particular Representative Australian TAB, and that TAB fails to declare a dividend within ten (10) minutes of the other Representative Australian TABs declaring a dividend, Bet Right will pay the dividend which is the highest of the dividends that were declared by the other Representative Australian TABs.
(b) If and when a Representative Australian TAB pool is rendered inaccessible either on-line or via the telephone and the pools are distorted, then Bet Right may decide not to include those dividends from the calculation when paying out. For Best of 3 Totes, e.g. if the NSW TAB pool is inaccessible, the better of UBET QLD and VIC TAB dividends declared will be used in making the payouts. For Middle Tote products, the dividend will be deemed to be the average of the two declared dividends.
(c) If and when one of the Representative Australian TABs, for promotional reasons or otherwise, returns elevated dividends due to them foregoing their normal statutory pool deduction, Bet Right reserves the right to declare its Best Tote dividends at the higher of the other two Representative Australian TABs. Nevertheless, under this scenario Bet Right will match the offending TAB's elevated dividend up to and including the first $500 portion of the Client’s stake on their initial bet on the runner or runners in question. Only Win-Only and Each-Way single bets will be eligible (Multi-Bets are ineligible).
(d) If and when a dead-heat or draw occurs, where such an option was not offered for betting purposes, the Dead-Heat Rule applies.
(e) Bet Right may disregard Representative Australia TAB pools of under $2000 in the calculation of Best Tote + SP, Best of 3 Totes, Best of 2 Totes and Middle Tote Dividend (MIDDIV). In the case of MIDDIV, Bet Right may also disregard Representative Australia TAB pools should one or more of the TAB pools be under $2000.
(f) Bet Right may restrict the maximum dividend payout for Win-Only and Place-Only bets to $101.
(g) Bets placed in the Futures markets on All-In basis are settled on the basis that if and when events have been abandoned, postponed or transferred from the original date, all bets stand until the completion of the event.
3.5. Manipulation
Bet Right may void bets where Bet Right, based on reasonable suspicion, believes that an attempt to gain financial benefit through the manipulation of tote-based dividends (pool manipulation) or the Bet Right (SP) has occurred.
3.6. Settlement and payouts
(a) If a runner is scratched, all bets placed after the declaration of the final field will be refunded on that runner provided the bet wasn’t placed, prior to the barrier draw, on an All-In basis. All other runners will be subject to any deduction given in accordance with the Directive on Deductions, to be applied to the Face Value, where the bet was placed at a fixed price, for either Win-Only, Each-Way, or Place-Only. In the event of a horse being withdrawn late by order of the stewards, all wagers will be paid as stewards direct subject to any deduction given in accordance with the Directive on Deductions.
(b) If and when a field is reduced in size from eight (8) runners to seven (7) or less runners, and the bets were placed online at Bet Right website or mobile apps, Bet Right will pay dividends on the first three placings for all fixed odds bets on placing placed prior to the field being reduced. These bets will be subject to relevant deductions declared by the stewards.
(c) If and when a field is reduced in size from 7, 6 or 5 runners to less than 5 runners, Bet Right will pay dividends on the first two placings for all fixed odds bets placed prior to the field being reduced to less than 5 runners. These bets will be subject to relevant deductions declared by the stewards
(d) If and when a field is reduced in size from 10 or more runners to 9 runners or less, and the bets were placed online at Bet Right website or mobile apps, Bet Right will pay three dividends on all Each-Way fixed odds bets struck prior to the field being reduced. These bets will be subject to relevant deductions as declared by the stewards. In the event of there being an odds-on runner in the field at the time the bet was struck, then the place portion is paid based on the relevant Representative Australian TAB place dividend regardless of field size.
(e) If and when there is only 5, 6 or 7 runners in the field, and the bets were placed online at the Bet Right website or mobile apps, Bet Right will only make payouts on first two placings for all fixed odds bets on placing irrespective of whether the relevant Representative Australian TAB pays 1st, 2nd and 3rd dividends due to late scratchings.
